Emirates Holidays has launched its Ski 2008-2009 brochure featuring 17 ski resorts and 72 hotels across seven countries.
New to the programme is the US, revealed Emirates Holidays vice president commercial operations Dina al Herais.
Destinations to debut are skiing hotspots in Colorado and Utah – Aspen/Snowmass and Park City/Deer Valley respectively – to mark parent company Emirates Airline’s two new US routes – Los Angeles (launched October 26) and San Francisco (December 15).
“Last year our brochure included Canadian resorts and that was a huge success so it’s something we wanted to build on,” said al Herais.
Her comments were echoed by Emirates holidays regional manager Ian McDougal.
“We think this is going to be very popular because the winter climate in these resorts will offer Arabic travellers something different that they will be keen to experience,” he enthused.
“Also, we’ve made sure that these packages aren’t simply tailored for die-hard ski enthusiasts; the quality of hotels and the wealth of activities and shopping options in the resorts we have selected means clients will not have to ski in order to enjoy their holidays.”
