Saudi Arabia has announced a major change for Umrah visas. The kingdom has now announced visa on arrival for citizens from a dozen new countries.

As of August 20, 2023, travellers from the United States, United Kingdom, various European countries, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, Kazakhstan, Brunei, and China can now obtain Umrah visas upon arrival in the kingdom.
