Minor Hotels, owners of the Anantara hotel chain, has announced plans to open a new resort and branded residences development in Sharjah.
The Anantara Sharjah Resort and Anantara Sharjah Residences are being developed by Arada and are scheduled to open in late 2027.
Located along Sharjah’s Al Heerah Beach, just a 30-minute drive from Dubai Airport, the new complex will feature 110 guest rooms and suites as well as 128 luxury one to four-bedroom residential units available for purchase.

Amenities will include an infinity pool, Anantara spa, state-of-the-art gym, and five restaurants serving a variety of cuisines. Meeting and event spaces will also be provided.

The announcement reflects the growing popularity of Sharjah as a cultural and lifestyle destination. In recent years the emirate has invested heavily in tourism infrastructure like beaches, attractions, and heritage sites. Minor Hotels sees an opportunity to bring its acclaimed Anantara brand to a new market segment in Sharjah.
