Intershop release cross-industry solutions

Intershop's latest release of e-business solutions allows companies to address specific business needs through flexible components.

Intershop has unveiled a new set of e-business solutions, consisting of business components that run on its Enfinity e-commerce platform.

The cross-industry solutions include strategic business components that allow companies to automate relationships across their supply chain. Each solution focuses on a specific segment of business, allowing companies to address each business challenge independently.

“The solutions will benefit businesses in the Middle East, regardless of market or industry, by enabling them to leverage existing investments in technology and people and improve relationships with suppliers, partners and customers,” said Basel Tutunji, regional director of Intershop MENA.

“The result is a powerful e-commerce platform with flexible components that address a company's specific business needs, while offering a quicker return on investment,” added Tutunji.

The new cross-industry solutions include: Intershop B2C Solution, B2B Solution, Supplier Solution, and Marketplace Solution.

"The announcement of Intershop's new solutions is well timed, as the market is definitely showing accelerated interest in e-business solutions," said Kent Allen, research director at the Aberdeen Group.

"By expanding its focus to include these solutions, Intershop can expand its value proposition to those Middle Eastern enterprises that are now entering the market for e-business solutions," added Allen.
