Abu Dhabi’s Louvre Museum recorded over 1.2 million visitors in 2023 of which 72 percent represented international visitors and 28 were residents of the UAE.
The increase in visitor numbers was attributed to exhibitions and the collection of art at the museum alongside educational programmes, outdoor activities and activations.
Key international visitors were mostly recorded from countries including Russia, India, France, UK, US, China, Germany, Italy, and Kazakhstan.
Additionally, the museum saw visits from officials, dignitaries, heads of state, ministers, ambassadors, artists and celebrities.
