Tea enthusiast Tania Lodi has launched a café in Dubai that is designed around tea.
Tania’s Teahouse, a new two-storey villa in Jumeirah, near Burj Al Arab, is an Instagram-friendly venue featuring an all-pink theme with marble tables, rose gold furniture and catchy puns such as ‘habib-tea’ in framed illustrations, printed on take away cups.
The menu is also based on playful names including Socie-tea Snob, Detox Tea-tox and Don’t Chai This at Home, while the teas are all custom blended by Lodi herself.
Coffee is also served at the teahouse, where fashion-inspired barista art showcases designer logos from the likes of Louis Vuitton and Chanel.
As for the food, it includes healthy bites such as all-day chia seed breakfast bowls as well as indulgent cupcake desserts.
The venue houses a gift shop, too, with tea-themed creations ranging from mugs to journals and skincare products.
Tania’s Teahouse is expected to host seasonal pop-ups and regular workshops for various tea-related products and topics.
