Taste of Dubai will return from 6 to 8 February at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre, bringing back one of the city’s most popular food events with a larger culinary line-up, celebrity chef workshops and expanded entertainment.

Organised by MENA Live Events in association with the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, the festival is expected to draw around 25,000 visitors across the weekend.

Sixteen restaurants will host pop-ups, each offering a menu of three to five taster dishes so guests can sample a wide selection of the city’s leading culinary names.

Early confirmed restaurants include Akira Back, Demon Duck, Duck and Waffle, Leña, Lowe and Khadak. Every outlet will offer at least one vegetarian dish and one child-friendly option, with purchases made either by card or through vouchers included in selected ticket packages.

A major draw will be the roster of celebrity chefs appearing across the Taste Cook School, Chefs Hub and Fire Pit. The first announced names include Gino D’Acampo, Matt Preston, Rachel Allen, Harry Heal, Jenny Morris, Fred Casagrande and pitmasters Andrew Dickens and Joseph Nesbitt Larking.

All workshops are included within general entry, with sign-ups handled on a first come first served basis each day. Sessions will be hosted by Virgin Radio’s Priti Malik.

A revamped VIP package will offer fast track entry, access to a dedicated lounge, live music and a bundle of food and drink vouchers. Festival organisers expect the premium tier to be in high demand.

Live music will run across the site throughout the weekend, featuring bands, acoustic sessions and sets by radio hosts Big Rossi and Remix Rich. Several licensed outlets run by African and Eastern brands will be positioned around the venue for visitors aged 21 and over.

Children will be able to join Little Chefs workshops and take part in family activities across the event, with free entry for those aged 12 and under. A shopping zone will host artisan vendors and local brands, including a new section dedicated to Emirati businesses and demonstrations of traditional dishes.

Early bird tickets are now on sale on Platinumlist starting at AED60, with taster and VIP packages also available.
