The National Basketball Association (NBA) and the Department of Culture and Tourism of Abu Dhabi are also hosting a fan event during the week of the anticipated basketball matches.
The weeklong NBA District event will be held from October 5 to 9 at the Manarat Al Saadiyat.
It follows NBA’s earlier announcement to host its first matches in the Arabian Gulf, where Atlanta Hawks and 2021 NBA champion Milwaukee Bucks will play to preseason games at the Etihad Arena in the UAE capital.
The fan event wil showcase music, media, and art associated with NBA culture, a statement on Wam said.
Fans will be able to interact with NBA personalities, watch authentic NBA game entertainment, buy limited-edition merchandise, as well as participate in basketball activities themselves.
