One of Saudi Arabia’s oldest contracting firms, El Seif was initially in the commerce and transport sectors with a large vehicle fleet, but moved into general contracting in 1975 and now has branch offices in Doha, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Beirut.

In 2008 the firm secured the third initial package for the Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University  worth $2.13 billion, and in 2010 El Seif was awarded a $240m contract to build a new headquarters for the Samba Financial Group in the King Abdullah Financial District.

Al Seif’s influence and activities go far beyond construction, and he has been active in a host of committees, councils and delegations to promote international trade.
