It’s been a busy 2013 for Nawab Shaji Ul Mulk,  founder, owner and chairman of Mulk Holdings – a diversified multinational conglomerate known as the world’s largest manufacturer of aluminium composite panels, under the brand name of Alubond. The company’s business interests range from these panels to aluminium coil coatings, CSP solar technology systems, telemedicine healthcare, contract fit-outs and hospitality. This year, the company expanded production capacity from 12m m2  per annum to plus 20m m2, realising the plan to make Alubond USA  the world s largest cladding panel brand. Elsewhere, Alubond USA production facilities set up in Saudi Arabia, India, Europe, Sri Lanka, Turkey, China and Kenya; in addition to UAE production infrastructure. Furthermore, it has a $400m projects pipeline in the Middle East, working on Iconic projects like Kingdom Tower, The Address Boulevard, JW Mariott Marquis, Sea Palace, DANATE, Bahrain Chamber of Commerce to name just a few, In the UAE, it has established the Ajman Sports City project – a billion dollar project to develop a cricket centric sports, hospitality and real estate development in northern emirates, the largest in the country for cricket. Mulk himself has even had the honour of being appointed as an Honorary Ambassador for the republic of Sierra Leone by the President Ernest Bai Koroma. Success clearly breeds success for Mulk.
