HE Ali Al Mansoori’s Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC) has been prolific during the past 12 months. In April 2016, the Abu Dhabi-based master developer unveiled plans to build Saadiyat Lagoons District, Saadiyat Island’s largest development to date. Located within minutes of the UAE capital, the 600ha project will ultimately become home to 29,000 residents across 4,000 residential units.
Later the same month, TDIC awarded the main construction contract for Mamsha Al Saadiyat to a joint venture between San Jose Contracting and Pivot Engineering & General Contracting. The project is valued at $340m (AED1.25bn), and is scheduled to be delivered during H2 2018.
