The daughter of UAE billionaire MohiDin BinHendi took over as CEO of BinHendi Enterprises, a fashion conglomerate, in 2007. With over 3,000 employees and hundreds of outlets, it was a huge undertaking for the then 27-year-old, who graduated from Zayed University in 2002 with a Bachelors in Business Administration and Information Technology.
Since BinHendi took over as CEO, BinHendi Enterprises has gone from strength to strength, most recently opening new jewellery outlets, such as Jacob & Co in Dubai Mall, and expanding its Ruby Tuesday franchise in the region to three restaurants.
BinHendi made the 2008 Forbes Arabia List of the 50 most powerful Arab businesswomen, the youngest, at only 27, to achieve this accolade.
