Sport has helped the Etihad brand surge to global prominence in recent years. The Abu Dhabi-based national carrier has been the key sponsor for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the concluding race of the F1 season, since its inception 2009 and it’s an event that has helped the city and the airline reach a global audience.
The same can be said for its partnership with newly crowned Premier League champions Manchester City, whose shirts and stadium it sponsors. The airline now serves 90 destinations in 56 countries around the world.
