Company: Dubai Properties
Designation: Group CEO
Since his appointment as group CEO of Dubai Properties in February this year, Al Nuaimi has implemented a company restructure while continuing the brand’s track record of launching Dubai-shaping developments. This year he oversaw the launch of new projects in Business Bay, expansions of the popular Mudon and Villanova residential communities, the opening of two new state-of-the-art marinas, and the continued development of key DP projects such as 1/JBR and Bellevue Towers.
It has been a whirlwind few months in which both his talent and the depth of DP’s involvement in Dubai’s urban fabric have been apparent. Recently, the company also revealed a six-metre-high, 210-metre long living green wall at the Dubai Wharf, the largest in the Middle East. The developer had been encouraged to build the wall to enhance the aesthetic appeal of Dubai Wharf and the wellbeing of its visitors and residents.
“The Dubai Wharf Green Wall is a prime example of our holistic approach to wellbeing in our communities, as it instils a sense of serenity throughout the neighbourhood while supporting the local ecosystem and beautifying the surroundings. In addition, having a new Dubai landmark at their doorstep is a matter of pride for the residents of this community,” he commented.
Before joining Dubai Properties, Al Nuaimi was CEO and managing director of North25, a joint venture between Meraas and Dubai Holding. Having spent five years as the CEO of DXB Entertainment, where he led the conceptualisation and development of Dubai Parks & Resorts, building Dubai’s new, ambitious and multifaceted theme park from the ground up, Al Nuaimi has a keen understanding of major project development and creating destinations that encourage growth.
In that previous role he was responsible for providing strategic vision, and operational leadership to ensure the development and subsequent operation of DXB Entertainments PJSC, where his guidance enabled the company to develop new strategies and identify opportunities for the leisure and entertainment fields.
Al Nuaimi has also worked in senior positions at Tatweer and in the Engineer’s Office of Dubai Ruler Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
