Dr Reem Osman is the CEO of Saudi German Hospital (SGH) Group UAE (Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, and Ras Al Khaimah) since November 2017 and has been the CEO of SGH Dubai since 2012. Under her leadership, Saudi German Hospital, Dubai has been a key player in the Middle East established healthcare industry and the growing medical tourism market. In a statement to CEO Middle East Osman said her aim is to help SGH UAE “occupy a whole other level of healthcare service provision through upcoming and current expansions.”

Osman’s leadership has seen her receive consistent recognition for her efforts, including being named among the 15 most influential people in the UAE by Arabian Business  in 2017 and regularly being named among the most Influential women in the Arab World by CEO Middle East.

Osman is a Saudi Arabian nationality of Syrian origin. She graduated from Tishreen University of Medicine in Syria. She also has a Master’s degree in Ophthalmology and Eye Surgery and Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Wollongong University in Sydney along with being a certificate holder of management healthcare delivery from Harvard Business School.

Married to Engr. Sobhi Batterjee, Founder and President of Saudi German Hospitals Group, the couple has three daughters.
