Sarah Al-Suhaimi is the first woman to chair Tadawul, the Saudi stock exchange. She is also the CEO and a board director of National Commercial Bank’s investment arm, NCB Capital. In her first four years at NCB Capital, assets under management went up by more than 100 percent. Prior to that, As-Suhaimi served as the chief investment officer at Jadwa Investment, which she joined in 2007.

There, she led the company’s asset management and wealth management business lines, and was a member of its management committee. With full support from the government, and under the framework of Vision 2030, Sarah is leading comprehensive efforts to further integrate the Saudi capital markets into the global system. She is often cited of an example of the growing importance of Saudi women in the economy, a key part of Vision 2030.
