The St Regis Abu Dhabi is as luxurious as a hotel can get in the UAE’s capital, where the hotel merges the distinctive St Regis New York legacy with Arabian hospitality to create a lavish creation in the soaring Nation Towers on the Abu Dhabi Corniche. The hotel is directly connected to Nation Galleria Mall and is in close proximity to the Marina Mall, but is also near business districts including the World Trade Centre, oil and gas giants, business institutions and world embassies.
It is also home to the only Remède Spa in the Middle East, which stretches over 3,200 sq m and overlooks the pristine waters of the Arabian Gulf. It houses 11 treatment rooms and a spa café with an outdoor terrace. But perhaps the hotel’s most impressive space is the Abu Dhabi Suite comprising the 48th and 49th floor, from where it presents guests with 360-degree views of the city.
The suite with a private entrance boasts three bedrooms, a maid’s room, three bathrooms, two powder rooms and a lounge bar.
Yet its range of dining options is just as notable. Its Villa Toscana Restaurant is inspired by a stately Italian summer residence, with a changing menu featuring a variety of specialty dishes from Tuscany, Umbria, and Emilia-Romagna.
On the hotel’s ground floor, guests can visit The Terrace on the Corniche, where they can dine in the garden terrace and enjoy private access from the Abu Dhabi Corniche, or an entirely private separate dining room that can comfortably seat 40 people. In the evening, the restaurant reveals its live-cooking stations which serve signature Middle Eastern classics as guests enjoy the sounds of modern Arabian music. For a New York Gilded Age vibe, guests can visit The St Regis Bar adorned with walnut wood, glittering chandeliers and a distinctive Cigar Lounge. On the mezzanine level, guests can find the Crystal Lounge, which serves the world’s finest bubbly.
To get some sun, guests can visit the Nation Riviera Beach Club, which features a 200-metre private beach, intimate cabanas, infinity pool, lush gardens and fitness facilities. There’s something for the younger guests too: the Treasure Island Children’s Club, which is designed as a pirate’s ship and boasts a pool and water slide.
The St Regis Abu Dhabi provides private transport from the Abu Dhabi International Airport, which is just 30 minutes away by car, and to the Dubai International Airport, which is two hours away.
