Arab Banking Corporation

Arab Banking Corporation

Founded in 1980, the Bahrain-headquartered and listed bank is one of the kingdom’s leading providers of trade finance, syndications, project and structured finance and Islamic banking services. It also provides retail banking services through a network of bank branches across Jordan, Egypt, Tunisia and Algeria. In April, Standard and Poor’s Global Ratings upgraded its outlook on the bank to stable, noting the bank’s resilience to high economic and banking risks in the countries where it operates. This year, ABC launched a mobile-only bank for clients using biometric identity verification technology – the first in the region.
