Firas Tayeb, CEO and founder of Enterprise Systems Analysis Technology (ESAT), is an example on how persistence leads to success and why having a strong work ethic is the most important trait in business. A software engineer by profession and with a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from City University of Seattle in Washington, his strong will of turning his passion in technology into a purpose has led him to what is now ESAT – a company recognised as one of the leading hardware and software providers in the Gulf region.
With his deep knowledge in many different aspects of technology, he set out to assist companies by providing them with software solutions that will help make their business tasks easy, simple and efficient.
He tried to bring up the idea of standard ERP [enterprise resource planning] packages a few years back, but many of those around him were not interested. But he didn’t let this lack of support stop him. Like every other successful person who was once a dreamer, he never gave up and decided to do it himself and take the risk.
Fortunately, it was also the perfect timing for companies such as ESAT to recognise the need in the UAE for quality systems and organisational efficiencies. Together with his partner, they devised ways to address the range of business challenges companies face and established effective systems to boost productivity and enhance revenues.
In 2011, ESAT started operations. From humble beginnings, the company was built on the principles of a strong work ethic and a passion to create innovative solutions for entrepreneurs and businesses, with the aim to contribute towards clients’ success by providing the best ERP solutions to help them reach their business goals. As a result, ESAT is proud to have played a key part in the UAE’s success through its work in the IT industry.
ESAT, with Tayeb at the helm, aims to take the company to the next level; to become a leader in ERP and IT solutions that surpass customers’ expectations of performance and quality in the Middle East.
“Through hard work, we hope to expand this reputation globally. The bigger the dream, the bigger the impact,” he says.
Married with two children, the Palestinian tech guru says he is a very transparent person, most people around him already know everything about him and his passion for perfection.
Firas believes ESAT, along with a dedicated team of professionals working with the same goal of creating value-added IT services, will navigate through the tech transformation taking place in the UAE and establish itself as a leader in the industry.
