Widely known as the ambassador of MENA venture capital in Silicon Valley, Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed bin Talal, is the founder of two separate investment vehicles, a member of the Saudi Arabian royal family, and the son of billionaire business magnate Prince Alwaleed bin Talal.
KBW Ventures, the Prince’s venture capital firm, continues to make headlines in the region and further afield for its investments in emerging tech including cellular agriculture and plant-based business models.
In his capacity as Chairman of KBW Investments, founded in 2014, he co-launched Arada, a UAE-based master developer that also has a major Saudi project in the pipeline.
Prince Khaled also serves as the President of the Saudi Sports for All Federation, tasked with realizing the Vision 2030 benchmark of getting 40% of all Saudi society physically active as part of the country’s ambitious Quality of Life programme.
An outspoken advocate of animal welfare, the Prince is also considered an impact investor for some of his mission-driven venture capital deals.
