The prominent Emirati businessman is the founding chairman of Emaar Properties, recently stepping down to assume the role of its managing director due to a regulatory rule barring combining the position of chairman and executives.
He is also the chairman of real estate company Eagle Hills, as well as Kuwait-based food giant Americana Group.
