Jassim Alseddiqi is the Group Chief Executive Officer of SHUAA Capital, the leading asset management and investment banking platform, with $14bn in assets under management. Alseddiqi is known for his dynamic and innovative approach, having pioneered many investment strategies in the region.
He founded and ran Abu Dhabi Financial Group (ADFG) since its creation in 2011, transforming it into one of the fastest-growing investment groups in the Middle East. In 2019, he planned the merger of SHUAA and ADFG, creating the second largest investment management firm in the region with $14 billion under management.
His involvement in the Middle East entrepreneurial ecosystem is highlighted by the investments he led in AI, EduTech, PropertyTech, E-commerce and FinTech companies to capitalize on the region’s growing technological shift.
He is currently the Chairman of GFH Financial Group, Islamic Arab Insurance Company (SALAMA), Eshraq Investments, Khaleeji Commercial Bank and The Entertainer. He also serves on the boards of First Abu Dhabi Bank, ADNOC Distribution and Dana Gas. He holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
