Abdullah Ahmed Nass set up the group that bears his name just under half a century ago; today it is one of the most respected construction outfits in the Middle East. During the 1990s, he expanded his group to meet the growing demand for shipping and offshore industries, and also entered the food import and wholesale business. Nass now has affiliates in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, although it is in its home soil of Bahrain where Nass’ firm has made the most impact.
