Aviation is just the latest sector in Khaled Abdullah Almohem’s varied career. Now heading up Saudi Arabia’s flagship carrier, Almohem has also been CEO of Almarai, CFO of Saudi Telecom Company (STC). Almohem is currently overseeing Saudia’s slow privatisation plans, which began in 2006. The carrier has a total of 141 aircraft, with another 49 on order. Almohem began his career as an engineer with the Royal Saudi Air Force.
