Srivastava joined the QFC authority in April 2006. He has
sixteen years of global experience in the strategy consulting and investment
industries, and has held key positions with Dresdner RCM Global Investors,
Andersen Consulting, Abraaj Capital and DIFC. He has also worked for Swiss Re
and Prudential of UK.

The QFC Authority is responsible for leading the expansion
of Qatar’s
financial services sector and for developing relationships with the regional
and global financial community. In February 2010 the QFC Authority unveiled a
new strategy focusing on the creation of a global business hub for three core
markets — Asset Management, Reinsurance and Captive Insurance.

The QFC provides Qatari and international firms with access
to local and regional investment opportunities, including over $137bn of
prospective infrastructure investment in Qatar through to 2015, as well as
over $1.2 trillion of planned investment across the GCC.
