Founded in 1978, Sheikh Abdullah Al Rushaid’s Al Rushaid Company has a hand in everything from real estate to internet technology.
Its construction tie-ins are in the kingdom and abroad, including a partnership with international engineering giant Foster Wheeler, working on projects in industries including the oil and gas, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, chemical processing and power-generating industries. It has also partnered with Baker Hughes, Dresser Industries, Weatherford, Cleveland Bridge and Intercontinental Hotels and Resorts.
If you question its scope, Arabian Rockbits — the region’s largest manufacturer of rockbits — came from the partnership of its Al Rushaid Investment Company and Halliburton subsidiary Security DBS.
