Jasper Hope has an impressive passion for creative shows that has taken him from COO of London’s Royal Albert Hall to many other acclaimed performance halls around the world.
As the founding CEO of Dubai Opera, which hosted its first performance in August 2016, he has coordinated a stunning inaugural season starring world-class experiences from Bizet’s The Pearl Fishers and Rossini’s The Barber of Seville performed by the Russian State Ballet, to the “most dangerous” magic show and the Emirati singer Hussain Al Jassmi.
Hope was tasked with filling Dubai Opera’s 2,000 seats each day, which required convincing the public — including the millions of foreign visitors the emirate receives each year — of the calibre of performances he would offer.
