DHL Global Forwarding has continued to develop its presence in the Middle East over the years, with a series of multi-million dollar investments in the region being overlooked by Enver Moretti, the company’s chief executive officer and president in the EMA region.
Most recently, this includes a contract to lease storage space at the forthcoming Bahrain Logistics Zone complex, together with the opening of a US$50 million warehousing facility in Jebel Ali Free Zone, both of which are being operated by Danzas, DHL Global Forwarding’s brand in the Middle East.
In addition, Moretti, who speaks Italian, English, Arabic and French, visited Dubai in November 2009 to announce the signing of a contract to provide low-cost airline FlyDubai with a range of logistics services.
