Khaled Al Sayed serves as Group CEO of Qatar Holdings’ real estate development arm, Qatari Diar. Chaired by Ali Shareef Al Emadi, Qatar’s finance minister, Qatari Diar’s aim is to build mixed-use projects around the world — it is currently working on a series of developments stretching from Washington to London, and from Tajikistan to Malaysia. Its flagship project, though, is Lusail City, a mammoth residential project that contains the stadium that will host the World Cup final in 2022, and which will be home to 200,000 people when completed. Al Sayed also serves as a representative director at French firm Veolia Environnement, and is a director of Barwa Real Estate.
