Yet another company that has seen change at the top over the last year, Abdullah Al Sulaiti replaced Muhammad Ghanem as Nakilat’s managing director in November 2013. Nakilat was established in 2004 and transports gas from Qatar’s North Field to markets around the planet. It has the world’s largest LNG tanker fleet, with 54 LNG vessels, as well as a small number of LPG tankers. Nakilat has also established joint ventures with Keppel Offshore and Marine to carry out ship repairs, and with Damen Shipyards Group, to build vessels. Both of those joint ventures are based in the Erhama Bin Jaber Al Jahama Shipyard.
