Running one of saudi arabia’s largest distributers of food products does not come easy, but Mohammed Abdallah Sharbatly has undoubtedly succeeded in continuing his family’s food empire. Established in the early 1930s by Sayed Abbas Sharbatly, the firm is today known as Mohammed Abdullah Sharbatly.
Offering fresh fruits and vegetables and frozen food products, the Jeddah-based company has 14 branches in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the UAE and Egypt. In addition, the firm owns and operates cold storage facilities around the world. The food business is also supported by Arabian Transport Company, a subsidiary of the Sharbatly companies group.
If that was not enough, Sharbatly is also involved in real estate and development, including the 2 million square metre residential development, Sharbatly Village in Riyadh.
