More than 150 (53.6 percent) of the world’s biggest firms have
an office in Warsaw, Poland’s capital city – a reflection of its bid to become
central Europe’s financial hub. The Polish city’s stock exchange surpassed
Vienna’s bourse in trading volume last year, and ranks among the biggest
European exchanges in terms of its number of listings.
