The only female on our Rich List, Suad Al Humaidi is considered an ambassador of Kuwaiti businesswomen with expanded and diversified investments spread across several Arab countries, most notably in property.
Al Humaidhi owns a group of commercial and residential complexes in both Kuwait and abroad and as such is a member of The Property Owners Union in Kuwait. She is also a member of the board of management for Sradar (Audi Bank) in Lebanon, owns stakes in several banks across Kuwait including the National Bank of Kuwait and also owns a hotel and residential tower in Beirut, Solidere.
Most recently the property tycoon signed a deal, a $364m agreement with Saud Sahod al-Mutairi, Hambo. In addition to a commercial and property portfolio, the partners purchased 151,000 sq m of residential land in the East of Al Qareen which has increased remarkably in price over 2008.
