Another big hitter from Qatar to make this year’s list — Dr Tidu Maini has been in his role as executive chairman of the Qatar Science and Technology Park (QSTP) since June 2007, when he was appointed by Sheikha Mozah Bint Nasser Al Missned, chairperson of Qatar Foundation.
He has served as a senior technology leader in both industry and academia, most recently as Imperial College London’s head of tech transfer from January 2001 until his appointment to the QSTP. Dr Maini has 30 years of experience in the management of technology companies.
