The only entry from Bahrain in this year’s list, Mohammed Dadabhai is chairman of a diversified set of companies offering commercial construction services, and travel and hotel management services.
Back in the 1940s Dadabhai was the eldest of six children, and so was expected to work alongside his father, who owned a small toy shop in the heart of Manama’s old souk. Today the Dadabhai Group’s assets include some of Bahrain’s best known hotels and resorts.
