Mohammed Sharaf has been the driving force behind DP World’s growth over the past decade. During his tenure, the company became the world’s third-largest port operator and one of Dubai’s most prized assets. Sharaf led the company’s international expansion and growth strategy, including the acquisition of the P&O Group on 2006. Today, DP World operates more than 60 terminals across six continents with plans to expand in Latin America and Africa. In 2012, the company generated $749m of net income, a ten percent increase compared to 2011.
