Nermin Saad is brains behind a virtual engineering office that has worked with most of Saudi Arabia’s top construction firms. In particular, it aims to provide jobs for female engineers. A senior mechanical engineer herself, Saad graduated from the University of Jordan in 1999 before moving to Saudi Arabia. Last year, US Secretary of State John Kerry namechecked her in a speech at the Global Entrepreneurship Summit. “Nermin’s dream is that in five years, her website will be the first engineering company in all of MENA staffed completely by women.”
