A market leader in a wide range of consumer goods, the firm began operations in 1953 in Saudi Arabia as a one-shop operation for selling traditional men’s clothes. The company became focused on textiles in 1975, and then in the 1980s it expanded its business presence when new shops were added.

The company was established in 1979 with head office in Riyadh. Ajlan & Bros. employs more than 9,000 workers in more than ten countries.

Through the Al Ajlan International Co subsidiary, the company represents major international brands in the Saudi market such as Valentino, Cavalli, Hugo Boss, Cerruti 1881, Athlete’s Foot, and sports brands Puma, Nike, Adidas and Reebok.

The Al Ajlan Real Estate Co has significant investments in the property industry, specialising in housing, commercial, and industrial projects in cities throughout the kingdom.

In October last year, Al Ajlan Holding and developers Al Saeed and Cayan Group announced a deal to collaborate for a new mixed-use development north of Riyadh, estimated at around $270m.
