UAE’s e& goes from strength to strength as 9M revenues touch $14.57bn

9M 2025 revenue up 25.3% and Q3 revenue at $5.06bn; Consolidated net profit at $3.21bn, up 39.7% YoY; Group subscriber base reaches 202.2mn

As its total subscriber base crossed the 200-million-mark globally, e&, UAE’s telecommunication and technology company, revenue surged to AED18.6 billion (US$5.06 billion) for the third quarter of 2025, up 29.2 per cent year-over-year (YoY), and AED53.5 billion (US$14.57 billion) for the first nine months of 2025, up 25.3 per cent YoY.

With a strong growth trajectory across all its business verticals, e&’s consolidated net profit in Q3 reached AED3 billion (US$820 million), and AED11.8 billion (US$3.21 billion), a 39.7 per cent YoY increase. Q3 EBITDA rose by 29.2 per cent, reaching AED8.4 billion (US$2.29 billion) with a margin of 45.0 per cent. EBITDA for 9M 2025 was up 22.3 per cent, reaching AED23.8 billion (US$6.48 billion) with a margin of 44.4 per cent.

The company’s total subscriber base jumped 14 per cent to 202.2 million in Q3 2025. Strong demand for advanced digital services and intelligent connectivity solutions in the UAE led to subscriber numbers reaching 15.7 million, up 6.9 per cent.

In Q3 2025, e& deepened its regional connectivity agenda, forging a strategic cross-border partnership with 4iG Group, a leading telecom and infrastructure provider in Hungary and the Western Balkans, to explore joint projects in subsea and terrestrial networks, large-scale data centres, and regional interconnection corridors linking the Middle East, North Africa, and Europe.

In the UAE, the group’s flagship telecom arm, e& UAE, achieved several major technology milestones during the quarter, including launching the region’s first 5.5G network, establishing a new global benchmark in network speed, reliability, intelligence, and sustainability.

In entertainment, STARZ ON, evision’s AVOD/FAST platform, sustained strong growth with over 750,000 monthly active users, growing nearly 65 per cent year-on-year.

In the enterprise segment, e& enterprise continued to expand geographically and technologically, maintaining strong momentum across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe and accelerating the adoption of AI, cloud, and cybersecurity solutions.

e& international’s PTCL acquisition of Telenor Pakistan was given the green light by the Competition Commission. Once formalised, PTCL will become the country’s second-largest operator with over 42 million subscribers.

In Morocco, Maroc Telecom (MT) secured a 5G licence and 120MHz of additional spectrum, to enable nationwide deployment, paving the way for commercial rollout.
