The Beirut International Awards Festival (BIAF) is set to return for its 11th edition following a five-year break.
The event will take place at the Roman Baths in downtown Beirut, on July 20 and 21.
“Honouring distinguished personalities from various sectors, this prestigious festival promises an unforgettable celebration of talent, achievement, and success,” BIAF said in a statement.
“This edition comes as an exceptional one as it highlights Lebanese achievers, whether residing in Lebanon or living abroad, recognizing their dedication to their craft and highlighting the way they represent their country wherever they go,” the statement added.
The festival will begin on July 20 with an opening ceremony and panel discussion featuring the honourees.
The main event on July 21 will include a red carpet at 18:00, followed by the awards ceremony at 20:00. The proceedings will be broadcast live on regional television channels.
BIAF recognises individuals, companies, and organisations for their work in areas including arts, music, business, journalissm, and humanitarian efforts.
The last BIAF was held in 2019 at Beirut’s Martyrs’ Square, where recipients included singer Nassif Zeytoun and actor Mohammed Ramadan, among many other notable personalities.
Shine Entertainment, the event organiser, chose the Roman Baths as this year’s venue, citing its historical significance and symbolism of Lebanon’s resilience.
