The UAE stock markets continued to capitalise on improved investor sentiments, with blue-chip telecommunications, banking and real estate stocks leading the gainers in the capital’ bourse.
Both ADX and the Dubai Financial Market ended their sessions in green on Wednesday, edging up 0.34 percent and 0.04 percent, respectively.
In Abu Dhabi, Index FADGI closed at 9,621.620 points, buoyed by robust trading over ADNOCGAS and the country’’ main lender, FAB, which edged up 2.11 percent and 2.09 percent respectively.
The Oman and Emirates Investment Holding (OEIHC) was the best performer, with its stock price posting a jump of 8.36 percent to AED 0.350, while Manazel Real Estate stock inched toward AED 0.450, with a rise of 4.17 percent in yesterday’s session.
In Dubai, the main index ended at 3,987.07 points. Al Firdous Holdings was the best performer and ended the session up 14.98 percent, while the property blue-chip Emaar closed 0.44 percent higher at AED 6.830.
