Blockchain unicorn 5ire.org has secured a further $100m of funding, making it one of the world’s fastest growing unicorns with a valuation of $1.5bn.

The company, led by 32-year-old Pratik Gauri, was founded only a year ago. It is planning a testnet launch on November 30 followed soon after by a Token Launch.

5ire has built its own PoB (Proof of Benefit protocol) following the principles of the so-called “fifth industrial revolution.” It is believed to be the world’s first mathematical model that measures sustainability.

The company says it has also set up an office in UAE “because of its forward-looking policies, thriving ecosystem of technical and business professionals, world-class academic institutions, and close proximity to countries with a young population eager to make a difference.”

The co-founders of 5ire will be representing the company at the India Global Forum with other participants including top government officials from the Middle East, India, EU and North America.
