Aside from being Twitter, Tesla and SpaceX chief, business magnate Elon Musk has a new title – the Guinness World Record holder with the largest-ever loss of personal fortune.
Musk’s loss was worth $182 billion since November 2021, the global organisation which keeps track of record achievements said in an article, citing assessments made by Forbes.
“Although the exact figure is almost impossible to ascertain, Musk’s total losses far surpass the previous record of $58.6 billion, set by Japanese tech investor Masayoshi Son in 2000,” the report said.

Musk, who was also titled the richest person in the world, made $320 billion in 2021. However, the Twitter chief’s Tesla shares plummeted, despite his efforts to selling them in 2022.
Moreover, Musk’s $44 billion acquisition of Twitter made things worse as well.
Musk is now the second richest person in the world as LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy) founder Bernard Arnault, who has a net worth over $190 billion, surpassed Musk’s $137 billion net worth.
