A man has been arrested after a car crashed into the gates at Downing Street, London.
Downing Street is the home of the UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
London’s Metropolitan Police force said a man had been arrested by armed officers on suspicion of criminal damage.

Police said there were no reports of any injuries. Whitehall, the street which runs alongside the location was closed off by police during an investigation as the area went into lockdown.
“At around 4.20hrs a car collided with the gates of Downing Street on Whitehall,” City of Westminster Police said on social media.
“Armed officers arrested a man at the scene on suspicion of criminal damage and dangerous driving.
“There are no reports of any injuries.”
According to reports by national broadcaster the BBC, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak was in his No 10 residence at the time of the crash, but has since left the property.
CCTV footage of the car showed it approach the main entrance to the iconic street before slowing down before hitting the gates.
The area is guarded around the clock by armed and unarmed police officers.
