Saudi Arabia, UK, and India strengthen strategic partnerships in science and technology at WEF 2023

Saudi Minister of Communications and IT, Abdullah bin Amer Al-Swaha held meetings with UK, India sides on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum at Davos

Saudi Arabia held discussions with the UK and India on expanding strategic partnerships in the field of science and technology and IT.

Saudi Minister of Communications and IT, Abdullah bin Amer Al-Swaha met with British Secretary of State for business, energy and industrial strategy Grant Shapps to discuss the expansion of bilateral strategic partnership in the fields of science, technology, and space.

The minister also held a separate meeting with India’s Minister for Railways, Communications, Electronics & IT Ashwini Vaishnaw to discuss strengthening the strategic partnership in the areas of technology, innovation, and digital entrepreneurship.

The meeting also touched on the issue of the digital economy in G20 for 2023.

The meetings were held on the sidelines of the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum 2023, in Davos, Switzerland.

Dr. Mohammed Al-Tamimi, the Saudi Governor of Communications, Space & Technology Commission (CST), was also present at the meetings.
