The Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority (ECA) announced inviting applications to the latest edition of the Anjal Z Techstars Founder Catalyst Programme in partnership with Techstars.
The accelerator programme is for startups focused on early childhood development, centering on families and children aged 0-8.
For the upcoming Cohort 05, startups are invited to innovate within three additional thematic areas such as intentional parenting – dedicated to empowering parents on their journey to nurture young children, culture and identity – focusing on the rich UAE heritage, and sustainable and family-friendly cities – endeavoring to reshape urban planning with a child-centered approach.
The Anjal Z programme will run from August to November 2024.
The programme will be offered to startups belonging to two distinct tracks. Ignite Track – ideal for early-stage founders, this track offers virtual masterclasses, mentorship, and pitch feedback for startups with monthly recurring revenue (MRR) under $20,000 and less than $250,000 in funding.
Launch Track – Geared towards more established founders with an MRR over $20,000, this track includes a comprehensive four-week program in Abu Dhabi. Additionally, startups will benefit from non-equity funding of up to $270,000 to aid their expansion efforts.
The deadline for applying for the programme is June 28, 2024.
