Dubai free zone DMCC is targeting the addition of more than 2,000 new companies in 2025, building on the city’s strong performance as a global business hub, according to Dr. Hamad Buamim, Chairman of the Board of DMCC.
Speaking on the sidelines of the Dubai Business Forum – USA in New York, Dr. Buamim said the centre’s growth aligns with the expansion of other major sectors in the emirate and reflects continued confidence in Dubai’s economic landscape.
Dr. Buamim confirmed that company registrations at DMCC have now surpassed 26,000, marking a significant milestone for the free zone and reinforcing Dubai’s position as a preferred destination for global businesses.

He added that the centre remains on track to close the current year with more than 2,000 new companies, after welcoming over 1,000 firms in the first half of the year.
He noted that Dubai continues to consolidate its role as a primary gateway to major global markets, including Africa, the Middle East, India and China, supported by its strategic location, advanced infrastructure and business-friendly regulatory environment.
Dr. Buamim stressed that DMCC plays a key role within an integrated economic ecosystem that enhances the UAE’s standing as a global centre for business and innovation.
