Decision follows earlier move to exempt tenants of retail shops and restaurants at NCTH-owned hotels
The National Corporation for Tourism & Hotels (NCTH) has announced that owners of hotels under its management will be exempted from all management fees and other expenses for three months.
The move is part of its support for the country's precautionary and preventive efforts to contain the spread of coronavirus.
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, chairman of NCTH, said: ''This decision follows an earlier move to exempt tenants of retail shops and restaurants at NCTH-owned hotels from rents for three months.''
The current number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the UAE is 333, with 85 new cases reported on Wednesday. Two people have died from the virus in the country so far.
