London-based food truck trader The Roadery will reveal a towering burger, inspired by the Burj Khalifa, topped off with an edible 24 carat gold leaf bun.

The “Burg-Khalifa” will debut at food truck event Eat The World DXB in Dubai’s Burj Park from February 23 to 25.

It consists of five Wagyu beef patties, truffle cheese, seared and “ethically sourced” foie gras, saffron mayonnaise and blackberry ketchup.

How much will a burger of that kind cost? $63 (AED230) per piece.

"We’re all extremely proud of The Burg-Khalifa. We’ll have a limited stock so we suggest Dubai foodies get down to Burj Park nice and early – you don’t want to miss this!” said The Roadery owner Dan Shearman.

"With its undisputed reputation for luxury and incredible ability to build almost anything bigger and better than the rest of the world, we couldn’t return to Eat The World DXB without something extra special this year," he added.

The Burg-Khalifa will be available to order at the event.

Eat The World DXB 2017 features a celebrity chef theatre, a food market and an outdoor cinema.
