Leading Bahraini real estate developer Diyar Al Muharraq says it has sold more than 80 per cent of plots in its new freehold development concept, Al Qamra, in less than a week.
Sales for the first phase of the free hold residential project, which comprises 77 seven plots ranging from 300 to 700 square metres, started on Saturday, reported Gulf Digital News.
Success of sales is due to the project’s location, freehold aspect and land sizes, said Diyar Al Muharraq chief executive.
“All these elements combined pose as an attractive investment opportunity and a magnet for locals and expatriates alike,” he said.
Al Qamra is located within walking distance from Dragon City and some of the area’s largest beaches. It will also include a commercial retail space and communal facilities.
The project is part of the firm’s Diyar Al Muharraq scheme, which consists of seven islands stretching more than 10 sq m of land.
The islands are set to feature schools, medical centres, recreation facilities, shopping malls, hotels and marinas.
